72 Ways Hypnotherapy Might Help You
What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a heightened state of focus in which the body and conscious mind are in a relaxed, natural state while the subconscious mind remains very alert and open to positive suggestions for change. People often refer to hypnosis as a "trance like state" where one can concentrate intensely on a specific thought, memory, feeling or sensation while blocking out distractions. In the state of hypnosis, brain activity reaches the alpha and theta states ideal for creating positive changes and learning desired behaviors.
Why Choose Hypnosis?
Because it works! By harnessing the power of your own subconscious mind, hypnotherapy is often quick and effective in resolving personal issues and improving focus and performance in all areas of your life. With hypnotherapy, you can effectively replace limiting beliefs and behaviors with attitudes and actions that promote growth and success. Hypnotherapy helps you to turn your own personal power on and is effective, relaxing and a drug-free choice for change.
Can Anyone be Hypnotised?
Yes. Everyone has the ability to be hypnotized. Several times each day while watching television, reading our favorite books, or even driving long distances we go in and out of the hypnotic state. We also pass through the hypnotic state as we drift off into sleep each night.
Will I Say or Do Anything I Don't Want to Share or Do in the State of Hypnosis?
You cannot and will not be compelled to say or do anything in the hypnotic state that is in conflict with your personal, ethical standards and/or desires. In your hypnotherapy session, it is my intention to help you in achieving the goals you've set forth for yourself.
What Does Hypnosis Feel Like?
Everyone experiences it differently. It is possible to feel heavy, light, warm, cold, tingly, like you're floating or you may just feel calm and relaxed.
Can I Get Stuck in Hypnosis?
No, it is not possible to get stuck in hypnosis. You are 100% in control for the entire session and have the ability to stop at any time. If I were to leave the room or our internet connection gets disconnected before bringing you out of hypnosis, you would naturally come out of the state of hypnosis on your own.
How Many Sessions Does it Take?
The number of sessions depends on the individual. Clients may have similar issues but completely different programming. For example one person could take 1-3 sessions to overcome their issue and another person with a similar issue could take many sessions. I am committed to mobilizing your inner resources in the safest and shortest time possible.
